Job summary

THYE HUA KWAN MORAL CHARITIES LIMITED is seeking a Healthcare Assistant in Singapore to support clinical staff and care for residents in our facilities.

The role involves assisting doctors and registered nurses in simple procedures, documenting observations and vital signs, supervising daily living activities, escorting residents to appointments, and encouraging participation in development and recreational programmes. You will provide general supervision of residents in a compassionate setting.

Qualifications

• No specific qualification required.
• Eligibility includes at least one of the listed qualifications.
• Candidates may have NITEC in Community Care & Social Services, NITEC in Nursing, HMI Certificate in Healthcare Support, or WSQ nursing care courses.

Responsibilities

• Document, monitor and record observations of residents and vital signs; report changes to the nurse.
• Supervise/assist residents in daily needs (personal grooming & daily living activities).
• Escort residents for medical appointments.
• Guide residents to participate in development and recreational programmes.
• Provide general supervision of residents.

You will be considered for the position of Nursing Aide with at least aqualification in any of the following:

• NITEC in Community Care & Social Services;
• NITEC in Nursing;
• HMI Institute of Health Sciences' Certificate in Healthcare Support
• WSQ Certificate in nursing care-related courses and / or relevant work experience in nursing care

• Work Location: Eunos / Chai Chee / Sembawang
• Work Hours: 5-day work-week; 8.30 am to 6.00 pm
