Job summary

Singapore Buddhist Welfare Services in Singapore is seeking caring individuals to support residents with daily living activities, meals, and medications in a respectful, safe environment.

You will help organise social activities, encourage participation in games and exercise, and perform light administrative tasks and inventory checks as needed. The role requires compassionate service and adherence to policy.

Qualifications

• Minimum education as listed: Primary/Secondary/O-Level or higher secondary/Pre-U/College or Professional Certificate/NiTEC.
• At least 1 year of working experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Encourage residents to maintain their independence in activities of daily living.
• Assist to prepare and serve meals to the residents.
• Assist to serve pre-packed medication to residents in accordance with the organisation’s medication policy and established procedures.
• Assist in organising and conducting recreational and social activities.
• Encourage residents to participate in suitable activities, including exercise, games, puzzles and other group activities.
• To carry out weekly simple clinical tasks e.g. weighing of residents and vital parameter taking
• Ensure working environment is clean and perform routine housekeeping as and when required.
• Assist with administrative support work when assigned
• Keep and check inventory as and when required
• Any other duties as assigned and instructed by superiors
