Job summary

PRECIOUS ACTIVE AGEING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a dedicated individual to assist the Centre Manager in daily operations of the Active Ageing Centre.

You will coordinate support services, organize inter-generational activities, mentor staff and volunteers, and provide befriending and buddying to seniors, with ongoing outreach and reporting duties. You will help run mutual aid groups, oversee the alert system, and ensure information records are updated, while supporting seniors with tasks like

Qualifications

• A Level / Diploma in Community & Social Service.
• 1–2 years of related working experience.
• 1–2 years of volunteering experience.

Responsibilities

• To assist the Centre Manager in the overall daily operations of the Active Ageing Centre.
• Coordinate support services and organize inter-generational activities for the seniors in the identified blocks within the service cluster.
• Ensure that the programs and activities meet performance indicators and operating guidelines issued by AIC and preparation of reports.
• Mentor and motivate a team of AAC staff and volunteers.
• Befriending and Buddying of identified seniors.
• Conduct regular outreach to the seniors in the identified blocks.
• Establish and motivate seniors to run mutual help groups.
• Preparation and submission of internal and external reports.
• Supervision and manning of the Alert Alarm System.
• Maintain and update Information and Referral Service records and follow-up actions.
• Assisting seniors with letter reading, handphone issues.
• Up-keeping of facilities and equipment provided in the centre.

Special Aptitude & Knowledge :

• People-oriented and passionate towards working with seniors and for seniors. Knowledge of the role and function of Active Aging Centre would be an added advantage.
