Job summary

VDL ETG Singapore is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to act as the primary contact for customers and the factory, leading the program team to resolve delivery blockers in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will coordinate schedules with customers and production, manage ECO changes, and ensure timely shipment of open orders while driving continuous improvement and maintaining rigorous attention to detail and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or other relevant qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management in the manufacturing industry.
• PMP certification is required.
• Proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel functions.
• Good communication and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and align with customer and factory on the program delivery schedule.
• Ensure closure for quality-related issues with factory and customer.
• Review Engineering Change Order (ECO) changes and update the associated BOM to the latest revision.
• Lead the program team to address order material shortages to keep Production build on schedule.
• Arrange shipment for Open Orders to meet customer needs.
• Communicate End of Life (EOL) items to customers to finalise its replacement.
• Support and participate in the company continuous improvement program.

Purpose

To be the first point of contact for both customer and factory on technical and operational issues. Responsible to lead the program team to resolve issues and constraints that will impact delivery schedule.
