Job summary

NEXBRIDGE RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Program Coordinator to drive manufacturing programs from award through mass production.

You will work closely with Engineering, Quality, Operations and Supply Chain teams across Singapore, Malaysia and China to ensure timely delivery and alignment with customer requirements. The role requires hands-on experience in precision engineering or tooling, strong project tracking skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 3 years of relevant experience in program coordination or manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on experience in precision engineering, tooling, or contract manufacturing.
• Exposure to New Product Introduction (NPI) including tooling, samples, validation and ramp-up.

Responsibilities

• Support Program Manager from award to mass production.
• Define scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables and success criteria.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules and milestones.
• Monitor progress and flag risks, issues and dependencies.
• Follow up on action items across teams for timely completion.
• Support resolution of program issues related to cost, quality, delivery and scope.
• Ensure projects align with company processes and customer requirements.
• Prepare for and support regular reviews and status meetings with internal teams and customers.
• Act as a point of contact for assigned customers.
• Participate in customer meetings and milestone discussions.
• Ensure customer requirements are clearly understood and communicated internally.
• Track customer deliverables and commitments.
• Support preparation for customer audits and reviews.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Tooling, Quality, Operations and Supply Chain.
• Coordinate tooling development, sample builds and qualification activities.
• Track ECRs and ECOs with clear documentation and communication.
• Assist with cross-functional problem-solving for technical challenges.
• Coordinate program activities across Singapore, Malaysia and China sites.
• Track timelines, deliverables and responsibilities across sites.
• Facilitate cross-site communication to keep execution aligned.
• Support NPI transfer and production ramp-up across locations.
• Escalate cross-site issues to the Program Manager as needed.
• Support tracking of program costs including tooling and expenses.
• Assist with quotation reviews and documentation as required.
• Record and communicate scope changes.
• Track program KPIs such as schedule adherence and delivery performance.

Job Responsibilities

• Support the Program Manager in running customer programs from project award through to mass production

• Support cross-functional problem-solving for technical and execution challenges
• Coordinate program activities across manufacturing sites in Singapore, Malaysia and China
• Track timelines, deliverables and responsibilities across sites
• Facilitate communication between sites to keep execution aligned and consistent
• Support smooth NPI transfer and production ramp-up across locations
• Escalate cross-site issues to the Program Manager when needed
• Support tracking of program costs, including tooling and project-related expenses
• Assist with quotation reviews and documentation as required
• Ensure scope changes are properly recorded and communicated
• Track program KPIs such as schedule adherence and delivery performance, and support preparation of program status reports
• Identify potential risks, elevate them, and support mitigation and contingency actions
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action follow-up
• Capture lessons learned and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Travel to company sites and customer locations as required

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering or a related field
• 3 years of relevant experience in program coordination, project engineering or manufacturing environments
• Hands-on experience in precision engineering, plastic injection molding, tooling development or contract manufacturing
• Proven exposure to New Product Introduction (NPI), including tooling, sample builds, validation and production ramp-up
• Working knowledge of engineering change processes (ECR/ECO) and basic quality tools (e.g. PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans)
• Experience working with Engineering, Quality, Operations and Supply Chain teams is an advantage
• Strong coordination and project tracking skills
• Good understanding of manufacturing and product lifecycle processes
• Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Structured, detail-oriented and highly organised, with strong follow-up discipline and a sense of accountability
• Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to elevate appropriately
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
