Job summary

The successful candidate will carry out carpentry, installation, repair, and finishing works in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements on-site. You will measure, mark, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other construction materials; construct and install fixtures, doors, cabinets, and wooden structures; and coordinate with site

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Carpenter in the construction industry.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and measurements.
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Measure, mark, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other construction materials.
• Construct and install fixtures, doors, cabinets, and other wooden structures.
• Install and repair wooden structures, fixtures, and fittings.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Check dimensions, levels, alignment, and workmanship to ensure accuracy.
• Carry out renovation, alteration, maintenance, and repair works as required.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, subcontractors, and other trades.
• Follow project schedules and complete assigned work within required deadlines.
• Comply with company policies, construction regulations, and workplace health and safety requirements.
