Job summary

AMBER COSMOS PTE. LTD. is seeking an on-site carpenter to perform general and finishing carpentry across projects in Singapore. You will fabricate and install timber works such as doors, frames, cabinets, partitions, furniture and other carpentry items per drawings and site measurements.

You will read specifications, take precise measurements, cut and assemble materials, and ensure work aligns with project schedules and safety rules. Long-term employment and independent work are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 to 2 years of proven carpentry experience.
• Able to read and understand technical drawings and construction details.
• Skilled in taking accurate measurements and setting out works.
• Competent in using hand tools, power tools and carpentry equipment.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Physically fit and able to work at construction sites.
• Must follow all workplace safety and site regulations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general and finishing carpentry works.
• Fabricate and install timber works, doors, frames, cabinets, partitions, furniture and other carpentry items.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and site measurements.
• Take accurate measurements and calculate material requirements.
• Cut, shape, assemble and install carpentry materials according to project requirements.
• Carry out repair, rectification and maintenance works when required.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other trades on site.
