EA RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is hiring for a laboratory technician to perform testing, calibration, and equipment maintenance in a 12-hour rotating shift at Jurong Island. You will handle sample analysis, material inspections, and ensure safety and quality compliance.

12 Hours Rotating Shift
Perform laboratory testing and analyze in-process samplesusing approved instruments and equipment.
Prepare chemical reagents as required for testing.
Communicate test results promptly to the Production Supervisor and QC team, especially when abnormalities are detected, to ensure timely corrective action.
Conduct incoming inspection of raw materials (e.g., Methanol, NaOH, Catalyst, VAM, Acetic Acid) and advise the Supervisor on material acceptance.
Perform daily equipment validation, including analytical balance checks, pH meter calibration, buffer verification, and KF standardization. Run control samples to confirm equipment performance.
Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
Carry out basic troubleshooting, minor maintenance, and gas cylinder replacement when required.
Report maintenance requirements to Supervisors and QC team members.
Assist with commissioning and decommissioning of laboratory equipment.
Prepare laboratory equipment for maintenance and ensure all energy sources are safely isolated.
Participate in emergency response drills and safety activities.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment in accordance with 5S standards.
Comply with all departmental Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ).
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor or QC personnel.
Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
GCE 'N', 'O' level / Nitec / Diploma in Chemical Process / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 3 years' experience in field and basic lab experience
Able to perform 12-hr rotating shift
