Job summary

EA RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Precision Spring machine operator in Singapore.

The role requires setting up and operating precision spring machinery per the production schedule, performing programming and tooling changes, and ensuring accurate recording of materials and outputs. The candidate should have 1–2 years of Itaya machine experience, a minimum N-level/Nitec in Engineering, and will work on a 12-hour shift, four days a week from Monday to Thursday, located in the West.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE ‘N’ Level / Nitec in Engineering or relevant qualification.
• 1–2 years experience with Itaya precision spring machine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Precision Spring machines according to production schedule and work instructions.
• Perform machine programming, tooling setup and material coil changes with proper scanning and recording.
• Troubleshoot basic machine issues (arbor/cutter burrs) with QA to qualify setups and WIP.
• Conduct daily machine inspections and maintain production records (timesheets, utilization, rejects).
• Manage production materials: check availability, requisition, close orders, return unused materials.
• Follow production specs, customer requirements and safety procedures (lubrication, packaging, PPE).

• Working hours: 7pm to 7am, or 7am to 7pm (4 days per week from Monday to Thursday, 12 hours Shift)

Job Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate Precision Spring machines according to the production schedule, quantity requirements and work instructions.

• Perform machine programming, tooling setup and material coil changes, ensuring materials are properly scanned and recorded.

• Troubleshoot basic machine issues, including arbor/cutter burrs, and work with QA to qualify machine setups and work-in-progress.

• Conduct daily machine inspections and maintain accurate production records, including machine timesheets, utilization and reject reports.

• Manage production materials by checking material availability, requisitioning materials, closing production orders and returning unused materials.

• Follow production specifications, customer requirements and safety procedures, including proper lubrication, packaging, lot size and required PPE.

Job Requirements:

• Possess minimum GCE ‘N’ Level / Nitec in any Engineering or relevant qualification.

• Ability to handle Precision Spring machine. (Preferred to have minimum 1-2 year experience with the Itaya machine).
