Job summary

MMC Success Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a skilled operator to set up and run precision spring machines according to production schedules, ensuring quantities and specifications are met.

International exposure with operations across different countries and opportunities to develop technical skills are highlighted. You will troubleshoot tooling issues, work with QA to qualify machine setups, inspect work-in-progress, maintain production records, and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 'N' level / NTC 3 in any discipline.
• Basic understanding of spring manufacturing and machine operations.
• Experience operating precision spring machines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate precision spring machines according to production schedules.
• Program and run machines to meet required production quantities and specifications.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues, including arbor and cutter burrs.
• Work closely with QA to qualify machine setups and inspect work-in-progress.
• Perform daily machine inspections and maintain production records.
• Prepare materials according to production orders and manage material coil changes.
• Ensure accurate scanning, recording, and return of production materials.
• Update machine timesheets, utilization records, and reject reports.
• Follow customer specifications for machine settings, lubrication, packaging, and lot quantities.
• Check material availability before starting each job.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements during machine operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
