Job summary

ASCEND ASIA CORPORATE SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on IT operations specialist to provide incident management, log analysis, and production support across the stack.

You will own first-line incident response, perform data patches, and assist in deployment validation and rollback when needed. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in computer science or IT, strong SQL skills, and experience with CloudWatch and on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong SQL skills for production data patches and queries.
• Experience with incident management and on-call coverage.
• Familiarity with CloudWatch, logs, and metric-based diagnosis.
• Knowledge of deployment pipelines and rollback procedures.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary responder for production incidents, triage, investigate, contain, resolve, and review incidents.
• Monitor and analyse application logs to identify root causes and liaise with L3 team.
• Write and validate SQL scripts for fixes and data corrections with auditability.
• Assist in production deployments, validate releases, rollback if needed, coordinate stakeholders.
• Identify, log, and track security vulnerabilities and technical debt.
