Job summary

A & One Precision Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a production supervisor to oversee machining operations on site. You will organize and coordinate all production activities to meet the plan, compute cycle times, and schedule jobs based on machine capacity.

Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities are essential for success in this role. You will also plan manpower, verify workshop programs, and address issues between programmers and production teams, while maintaining 5S housekeeping and

Qualifications

• NTC 2 / Diploma in Engineering discipline or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of working in related industry with 2-3 years of supervisory experience.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and be a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Organise, co-ordinate, check and ensure all production activities follow the plan.
• Calculate machine cycle time and plan production schedule based on machine capacity and capabilities.
• Plan manpower resources and delegate machining jobs to machinists.
• Verify programs issued to workshop.
• Analyse and provide solutions to problems between programmer and production dept.
• Analyse monthly machining and scrap reports.
• Demonstrate good supervisory and 5S housekeeping.
• Show writing and communication skills.
• Proficient in machining processes including machining, heat treatment, and jig/fixture usage.

Authorities and Responsibilities

1. To organize, co-ordinate, check and ensure all production activities follow as plan.
2. Calculate machine cycle time and organize production schedule base on machine capacity and capabilities
3. Plan manpower resources and delegate machining job to machinist
4. Verify program issue to workshop
5. Analyze and provide solution to solve problems between programmer and production dept.
6. Analyze monthly machining and scrap report
7. Good supervisory skill, people skill and 5 'S' housekeeping
8. Good writing and communicating skill
9. Good in mechanical process, such as machining process, H/T, jig and fixture etc.

Competence Requirements

• Preferred NTC 2 / Diploma in Engineering discipline or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of working in related industry, and having 2-3 years of supervisory experience and preferably with working knowledge in machining processes.
• PC literate
• Possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and is an effective team player who is also self driven with a strong achievement orientation.
