Job summary

Trust Recruit Pte Ltd in Singapore (Tuas South) is seeking an experienced manufacturing supervisor to strategize, plan and execute daily production activities. You will lead technicians and operators to meet output targets, uphold quality, and manage costs while ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering, 3+ years in manufacturing, and strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• 3+ years' relevant experience in manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge in manufacturing management principles and concepts, as well as quality systems.
• Demonstrated background in Lean Manufacturing and driving continuous improvement projects.
• Experience in writing Standard Operating Procedures for the factories and various production performance reports.
• Knowledge of safety requirements.
• Good leadership and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with management, internal stakeholders and contract manufacturers on project status and resolution.
• Own assigned tasks end-to-end and ensure completion and closure.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies and site safety practices.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Responsible for strategizing, planning, and execution of daily manufacturing activities to meet production goals.
• Lead a team of technicians and production operators to meet daily production output, quality performance, productivity and cost.
• Resolve and handle line related issues and understand equipment capacities or constraint to identify, handle and resolve bottleneck situations.
• Possess the ability to anticipate potential issues, elevate them appropriately, and implement solutions before they arise.
• Drive continuous improvement programs for operational excellence.
• Coordinate and provide support for new product introduction activities
• Collaborate with management, internal stakeholders and contract manufacturers regarding project status, progress and issue resolution.
• Take full ownership and accountability for assigned tasks, ensuring complete end-to-end execution and closure.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies and site safety through hazard identification and prevention.
• Undertake any other duties as assigned by superiors from time to time.
