Job summary

A & ONE PRECISION ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee production activities in our machining department.

You will coordinate daily operations, ensure work follows plan, and lead a small team of machinists to meet output targets. The role requires 3 years in machining, 2-3 years supervisory experience, and strong hands-on knowledge of machining processes, 5S, and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in related industry with 2-3 years supervisory experience.
• Prefer working knowledge in machining processes.
• Possess excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Organize and coordinate production activities to follow plan.
• Calculate cycle times and schedule production based on capacity.
• Plan manpower and delegate jobs to machinists.
• Verify programs issued to workshop.
• Analyze problems between programmer and production dept and provide solutions.
• Review monthly machining and scrap reports.
• Demonstrate supervisory and 5S housekeeping skills; strong writing and communication.

Authorities and Responsibilities

• To organize, co-ordinate, check and ensure all production activities follow as plan.
• Calculate machine cycle time and organize production schedule base on machine capacity and capabilities
• Plan manpower resources and delegate machining job to machinist
• Verify program issue to workshop
• Analyze and provide solution to solve problems between programmer and production dept.
• Analyze monthly machining and scrap report
• Good supervisory skill, people skill and 5 'S' housekeeping
• Good writing and communicating skill
• Good in mechanical process, such as machining process, H/T, jig and fixture etc.

Competence Requirements

• Preferred NTC 2 / Diploma in Engineering discipline or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of working in related industry, and having 2 - 3 years of supervisory experience and preferably with working knowledge in machining processes.
• PC literate
• Possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and is an effective team player who is also self driven with a strong achievement orientation.
