Qualifications

Diploma holder with supervisory background in manufacturing.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint) and data analysis.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Industry 4.0 concepts.
Ability to plan, organize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Hands-on with production processes and quality controls.

Responsibilities

Oversee all production lines under responsibility and supervise staff.
Ensure 100% OTIF and minimize rejects/waste; drive improvements.
Ensure smooth operation of machines and maximize uptime.
Drive productivity and continuous process improvement programs.
Ensure all required documentation is complete and up to date.
Verify SAP data is updated accurately and promptly.
Train staff on standards, SOPs, and housekeeping; enforce 5S.
Coordinate with Production Planner to avoid material delays and stoppages.

Job description

Knowledge and Skills:

Supervisory knowledge for production
Overall in-charge and responsible for all production lines under his responsibility
To ensure 100% OTIF and minimize rejects/waste. To review and plan for achieving the target of 100% on time in full delivery (OTIF)
To ensure smooth operating of machines
To increase machine efficiency and machine utilization
To ensure good quality products are produced. To raise overall awareness of quality
To drive productivity and continuous process improvement program
To ensure all reports are in order
To ensure that all relevant and important directions and instructions are communicated to all the staff
To supervise, follow up & ensure that all documentation required are complete, sufficiently detailed, correct and updated on time
To check & ensure SAP data are updated in SAP system immediately upon completion of production & data input are correct and accurate

Process

To execute and supervise improvement plan to improve the production process and product quality. To report to production manager the progress on all the improvement plans
To constantly review workflow with production Manager, Section Head & Production Planner to ensure smooth production operation

Quality

To train the staff on the standards required and what to do, to ensure that the manufacturing facilities are well maintained. To train and supervise staff on requirements on technical issues. To follow up to ensure that Pest Control, Health, Safety & Environment plans are in order and implemented, Good Housekeeping must be practiced and enforced
To chair and troubleshoot with staff on all NCTs, CCMs and NCMs to ensure proper analysis of all root causes of problem have been identified and the optimal solution has been identified to solve the problem on a long terms basis To monitor and follow up that action plan is implemented. To inform QA and superiors of progress of implementation & results
To check & verify to ensure all preventative and daily maintenance are done correctly and on schedule
To review and improve SOPs, cGMP and Work Instructions in order to improve process, product quality and productivity

Staff Supervision

To supervise and manage all production staff reporting to him
To train and ensure that all staff are properly trained, suited for and capable of handling their jobs
To Coordinate with Production planner to plan and expedite materials to support production in a way that there is no delay to production and no production stoppages due to any Materials' issues
To check & verify to ensure that production staff complete all required data for SAP & reports correctly & on time
To train and ensure all staff are following the SOPs, cGMP and Work Instructions
To control and minimize overtime
To ensure that technicians maximize(s) machine uptime through good Maintenance practices, minimization of no. of set-up and set-up/repair time
To troubleshoot with technicians to analyse all single cases of downtime and provide root causes and preventive measures
To follow up that these measures are implemented and to monitor the results of the new measures
To plan, allocate and ensure sufficient manpower to operate the production line
To train and supervise staff on the correct way to do daily and preventative maintenance
To motivate production staff and attend to staff issues.
Awareness of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems and policy, including the implications of nonconforming to the requirements and the assessment of occupational risks and hazards
