A Production Supervisor is responsible foroverseeing daily production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety.A strong leadership of the candidate plays a key role in cost reduction, process improvement, to direct and motivate team members collaborating with other departments. The candidate manages & controls a team of production workers, monitor production processes, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.His duties include scheduling staff, assigning tasks, evaluating performance, and hands-on troubleshooting issues to maintain smooth and productive workflows.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. 1)Strong leadership and guidance to the production team, fostering a positive leading and motivating production team for productive work environment.
2. 2)Developing and implementing production daily, weekly and monthly work orders plans and schedules to meet deadlines for production goals.
3. 3) Supervising the activities of production workers, ensuring they follow work plans & procedures to meet production targets.
4. 4)Hands-on production work schedules, coordinating with other departments (e.g., procurement, logistics, engineering), and adjusting schedules as needed to meet deadlines and demand to ensure smooth workflow.
5. 5)Monitoring production processes to optimize workflow and resource allocation, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to optimize efficiency and maintain quality standards.
6. 6)Overseeing inventory levels of raw materials, WIP finished, finished and supplies, coordinating with procurement to ensure adequate stock.
7. 7)Ensuring that products meet ISO quality standards and specifications.
8. 8)Implementing and maintaining Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) strategies.
9. 9)Conducting regular safety inspections and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
10. 10) Ensuring that all employees abide and adhere to company policies and work procedures, including those related to safety, quality, conduct and behavior.
11. 11) Hands-on troubleshooting production issues, identifying and resolving production problems, such as equipment malfunctions or material shortages, implementing solutions to minimize downtime.
12. 12) Managing manpower, equipment, tooling & fixture and raw materials to meet production objectives.
13. 13) Compiling production reports, communicating performance metrics to management, and providing regular updates on production status.
14. 14) Identifying and implementing cost-saving measures and process improvements.
15. 15) Setting and Tracking production Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and preparing performance reports.
16. 16) Analyzing production data output and identifying areas for improvement.
17. 17) Developing and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
18. 18) Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth production flow and resolve issues.
