Job summary

Bathsystem S.p.A. is seeking a Supervisor (Senior / Assistant) to assist the Production Engineer/Manager in all operations at the PBU Fitting Plant. The role requires oversight of project planning, quality and safety adherence, and team leadership on the shop floor.

You will coordinate with clients, review drawings, and ensure timely, compliant production with a focus on efficiency and cost control. On-site Singapore position with opportunities to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum PSLE with 5 years in architectural / PBU fitting.
• ITE with 2 years in architectural / PBU fitting.
• Diploma or Degree with 1 year in architectural / PBU fitting.
• Knowledge of ISO 9000 and 45000 is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and reporting abilities.
• Supervisory skills with manpower planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsible for project planning and planning functions of PBU Fitting fabrication.
• Monitor quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times and efficiency.
• Ensure work quality and safety regulations are complied with.
• Coordinate with client representatives, consultants and subcontractors.
• Review project specs, technical clarifications and drawings.
• Ensure installations and defects meet standards and tolerances.
• Perform product identification and traceability as required.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve quality issues.
• Lead efficient operation and discipline of production.
• Ensure production members follow quality requirements.
• Maintain 5S on the production floor.
• Contribute ideas for cost saving and productivity.
• Manage, coach and train team members; conduct performance reviews.
• Authorize stopping operations if safety or process conditions are breached.
• Participate in RA discussions and safety inspections with WSH officer.
• Propose yearly budget.
• Relay head of department instructions to teams.
• Flag noncompliance issues to Engineer / Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

As a Supervisor (Senior / Assistant), you will assist the Production Engineer / Manager (Senior / Assistant) in performing the overall operation in PBU Fitting Plant. You are to adhere to Quality, Environmental and Safety Management System in accordance with the Company’s standards and customers’ requirements.

Responsibilities

• 1) Overall responsible for Project planning / Planning functions of PBU Fitting fabrication to customer / site.
• 2) Monitor & update of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
• 3) Ensure quality of works is achieved and safety regulations are complied.
• 4) Coordinate with client’s representatives, consultants and sub-contractors on technical matters.
• 5) Review project specifications, technical clarifications and construction drawings.
• 6) Ensure that all installation as well as all defects of PBU Fitting met standards, measured to specifications and within tolerances & etc.
• 7) Perform product identification and traceability activities, as required.
• 8) Coordinate with other department to resolve Quality issue.
• 9) Lead in the efficient of operation and discipline of the production.
• 10) Ensure Production members perform according to Quality requirement.
• 11) Maintain 5 “S” in the production floor.
• 12) Contribute ideas which can lead to cost saving, productivity efficiency, accuracy and timeliness targets.
• 13) Manage, coach and train the team members include carrying out performance review and disciplinary action, if required.
• 14) Authorize to stop operation if conditions are out of safety measures or not able to achieve specified process / operation conditions in production.
• 15) Participate in the Risk Assessment (RA) discussion & review and taking part of inspection with company WSH officer on Environment, Health & Safety within company premises.
• 16) Propose Yearly Budget.
• 17) Relay instructions from head of department to the teams.
• 18) Flag noncompliance issues to Engineer / Manager.
• 19) Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management and the designated manager.

Requirements
