OPTO-PHARM PTE LTD seeks a Production Shift Supervisor to manage and lead the shift team across production areas for smooth, continuous operations.

The incumbent will supervise, coach, train and motivate the shift team, conduct manpower resource planning to meet delivery requirements, and conduct daily shift meetings to address safety, quality and production matters.

• Conduct orientation and training for new staff and upskilling for existing employees.
• Maintain attendance records and report updates in the Opensoft system.

This individual is responsible for managing and leading the production shift team in accordance to company policies and procedures. He / She will supervise production employees across areas of production for smooth and continuous operations.

The incumbent has to supervise, coach, train and motivate (and counsel when needed) his/her shift team to meet the Company goals / objectives.

• Supervise and lead production team in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Enforce production employee work Discipline, and resolve employee's work-related problems.
• Lead team to achieve Departmental productivity and quality goals by ensuring high quality products are produced at the optimal operation resource in a timely manner.
• Conduct manpower resource planning to ensure and flex manpower resource to meet the dynamic customer delivery requirement.
• Conduct employee orientation and training
• Conduct daily shift meeting, and stand-down (whenever required) to production team in regards to production matters, safety, quality or any information that is passed down by the management.
• Coach and provide career development to production team
• Establish team performance metrics, assess, review and communicate staff performance. Motivate and drive teamwork.
• Timely update manpower attendance records onto Opensoft system
