Job summary

FAXOLIF INDUSTRIES PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor. You will review production orders, plan daily schedules, and chair toolbox meetings to ensure all Team Leads and Operators are present at the start of each shift.

You will enforce SOPs and quality specs, perform random quality checks, and uphold 6S housekeeping. Mandarin skills are preferred, with SAP experience considered an asset.

Qualifications

• Background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in a wood work manufacturing environment with production planning and supervisory responsibilities is an advantage.
• Able to read production drawings.
• Willing to be hands-on and learn machine operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in SAP is an added advantage.
• Mandarin communication preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review production orders from Sales and plan daily production schedules.
• Chair toolbox meetings and ensure attendance of Team Leads and Operators at shift start.
• Arrange overtime when needed and submit requests for approval.
• Adhere to SOPs and quality specifications in manufacturing.
• Conduct random checks to ensure correct quantity and quality of finished components.
• Ensure safety, proper PPE usage, and housekeeping per 6S principles.
• Identify training needs for operators and escalate.
• Perform other duties as required by the Production Manager.

Job description

Ensure all consumables are delivered to the production work stations on time.

Responsible for reviewing production orders received from Sales and plan out daily production schedules

Chair toolbox meeting & check attendance of Team Leads and Operators at the start of the shift to ensure all required employees are available.

If overtime work is deemed necessary, arrange early in the shift and submit overtime requests to the Production Manager for timely approval.

Adherence to approved manufacturing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality specifications in the manufacturing process.

Conduct random check and ensure correct quantity and quality of finished components has been produced.

Safety at Work - proper use of equipment, elimination of potential safety hazards, correct use of PPE, gloves, ear plugs, dust masks etc. Recommend any safety improvements.

Housekeeping and cleanliness in accordance with 6 'S' principles.

Highlight to Production Manager for any training required for operators.

Perform other duties as required by the Production Manager.

Requirements:
