Job summary

Seagate International Headquarters Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an adaptable production worker to perform integrated manufacturing tasks on a rotating 12-hour schedule. You will operate and set up equipment, maintain quality records, and support continuous improvement initiatives in a team environment.

Responsibilities include following work instructions, ensuring safety and 6S standards, and collaborating to meet production targets while controlling costs.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform repetitive tasks accurately.
• Ability to work effectively in a team, promptly report abnormalities, and adapt to different tasks based on production needs.
• Willingness and availability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to perform the physical activities required for the assigned process, which may include standing for approximately two to four hours at a time.
• Ability to handle work items weighing up to 3 kg, using approved equipment or workplace accommodation where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned production, fabrication, assembly, testing, labelling, packing, and palletizing activities under established supervision and in accordance with documented work instructions.
• Set up and operate assigned automatic or semi-automatic production equipment after completing the required training and qualification, independently within the approved standard work and trained scope.
• Conduct required pre-use equipment and work-area checks, maintain workplace organization, and stop and report unsafe or abnormal conditions in accordance with established escalation procedures.
• Handle, verify, and transfer components, materials, and work items using approved methods and equipment carefully to meet quality, workmanship, and safety standards.
• Record required production and quality information accurately and complete associated documentation as required.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules while maintaining quality, safety and cost awareness.
• Participate in required training, cross-training, and learning opportunities to develop competencies in learn additional production processes.
• Participate in suggestions, projects, Kaizen activities, and continuous improvement activities that support safety, quality, and productivity
• Maintain 6S standards and workplace organization within the assigned work area.
• Perform other related duties assigned in support of manufacturing operations.

Work arrangement: 3-2-2-3 rotating shift pattern, with day shift from 7:30 a.m. to 7:45 p.m. and night shift from 7:30 p.m. to 7:45 a.m.
