Job summary

GlobalFoundries is offering an internship in Singapore to support the Global Production Planning & Scheduling team. You will gain exposure to wafer start planning, WIP management, production scheduling, analytics, and enterprise reporting. The internship emphasizes improving cycle time, capacity utilization, and delivery performance, with hands-on projects and collaboration across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• Must be in good academic standing.
• Ability to commit to a 16–24 week internship commencing January 2027.

Responsibilities

• Analyze wafer start plans, WIP movement, and production schedules.
• Monitor planning KPIs such as cycle time, fab output, and BTS backlog.
• Assist in identifying opportunities to improve scheduling efficiency and manufacturing performance.
• Collaborate with Fab Operations, Central Supply Planning, Business Finance and Engineering teams.
• Support data validation and process automation initiatives.
• Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI, or other analytics and AI tools.
• Present findings and recommendations to management at the end of the internship.
