Fab Operations Engineer: Lead Scheduling & Productivity

Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking to reinforce its manufacturing leadership in Singapore with a capable production control professional. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, and coordinating wafer fab operations to meet daily targets and shipment dates.

You will lead a diverse team, optimize workflows, and collaborate with IE and Engineering to ensure accurate capacity modeling and continuous improvement in productivity and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in production control, preferably in a wafer fab / Electronics / Electrical industry.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to support 12-hours rotating shift. (3 or 4 days' work week)

Responsibilities

• Plans and prepares manufacturing production schedules to establish sequence and lead time of each production operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.
• Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
• Analyzes plant capacity and production requisition data to determine manufacturing processes and required resources; prepares production reports.
• Lead, manage and train a team of Wafer Fab Operators / Technicians in day-to-day operations to meet daily targets and overall operation goals.
