Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) in Singapore is seeking a Production Planner to manage planning, shipping, and customer service to ensure on-time delivery and meet lead times. You will develop production plans and monitor performance against targets.

The role requires a Diploma in Logistics & Supply Chain Management and at least 5 years experience in production planning and scheduling, with strong knowledge of inventory control and cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Logistics & Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in production planning and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Ensure on-time delivery by managing promised and requested delivery dates.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries to maintain high service levels.
• Monitor and control inventory levels, focusing on aging and DIOH targets.
• Confirm material availability before releasing production work orders to avoid delays.
• Facilitate effective communication and coordination among factory work groups.
• Plan and verify machine capacity to meet monthly customer forecasts.
• Release work orders to production for timely material preparation.
• Provide accurate monthly material forecasts to suppliers on schedule.
• Supervise and support shipping activities to ensure smooth dispatch processes.
