Job summary

ANRADUS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Production Planner cum Purchaser to oversee production schedules and procurement activities within a precision manufacturing environment at Seletar Aerospace Park.

The role collaborates with Production, Sales and Quality teams to ensure feasible schedules, timely material supply, and accurate records. Proficiency in Excel and ERP experience is preferred; a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering serves as a baseline for candidacy.

Qualifications

• Plan and schedule production to meet customer orders and capacity.
• Coordinate with Production, Sales and Quality to ensure schedules are achievable and on-time.
• Monitor production progress and address delays and shortages.
• Review material requirements and raise purchase orders for materials and tooling.
• Source suppliers for quotations and delivery schedules; negotiate where needed.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records and monitor stock levels.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule production based on customer orders, delivery requirements, and available machine capacity.
• Coordinate with Production, Sales, and Quality teams to ensure production schedules are achievable and delivery commitments are met.
• Monitor production progress and follow up on delays, material shortages, and other issues affecting delivery.
• Prepare and maintain production schedules, work orders, and related planning records.
• Review material requirements and raise purchase orders for raw materials, tooling, consumables, and other production-related items.
• Source and liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, and follow up on delivery schedules.
• Monitor material availability and ensure materials are purchased on time to support production requirements.
• Follow up with suppliers on outstanding orders and expedite urgent materials when required.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records, including purchase orders, delivery dates, and outstanding items.
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent material shortages or excess stock.
• Coordinate with the Store and Production teams on material receiving and availability.
• Perform other production planning and purchasing duties as assigned.

• Minimum GCE O-Level, Higher NITEC, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
• Relevant experience in production planning, purchasing, or manufacturing is preferred.
• Experience in precision engineering, machining, or a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of machining processes, materials, and production requirements.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with ERP or MRP systems is an advantage.
• Good communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
• Meticulous and organised, with the ability to work independently.
• Able to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
