Job summary

BD Medical (Singapore) is hiring a Production Operator to join the shift team at Tuas, with company transport provided. This full-time role supports daily manufacturing activities, including equipment setup, operation, and routine maintenance to keep production running smoothly.

You will operate machines to meet daily targets, perform basic maintenance, troubleshoot issues, handle changeovers, and contribute ideas for machine upgrades. Clear communication and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Open to candidates with N Level / GCE O Level / Nitec.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to work 12-hour night shifts (7pm - 7.15am).
• Singaporean (s) and Permanent Residents (PRs) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines to meet daily production targets with high quality and low waste.
• Carry out routine machine maintenance such as cleaning, servicing, and part replacement.
• Troubleshoot machine issues to minimize downtime and maintain safety standards.
• Handle product and machine changeovers, including tool and die adjustments.
• Support improvements by contributing ideas and helping implement machine upgrades.
• Create simple work instructions to guide others on processes.
• Take action to prevent or correct issues (Corrective & Preventive Actions).
• Join department activities like Kaizen, safety programs, and team-building.
• Participate in daily shift meetings to review team performance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Carry out other tasks assigned by supervisors.

About the Role
