Job summary

BD is a global medical technology company, and we are seeking hands-on operators at our Tuas Plant in Singapore. You will support daily manufacturing operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting, with permanent day or night shifts and island-wide transport benefits.

You will record process parameters, perform sampling inspections, and assist in changes and projects within the production area while meeting quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least Secondary School/O Level/ SPM/ NITEC/ Diploma in any field.
• Candidate must have the legal right to work in Singapore.
• Able to work in a manufacturing cleanroom or non-cleanroom environment.
• Able to perform permanent Day OR Night shift.
• Able to stand for long hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate on machine/process units as assigned.
• Perform troubleshooting for machine/equipment failures to meet production targets and quality standards and/or specifications.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance (Cleaning, Service, Replace).
• Record machine/process parameters and take containment/corrective actions when necessary.
• Sampling inspection of parts to ensure specifications; handle disposition of non-conforming products as required by the Quality plan.
• Support Team Leader to execute changes and projects within production area ensuring EHS, quality, cost and schedule compliance.
• Update MES satellite data accurately (component lot numbers, shift output, waste, downtime).
• Manage material handling activities including packing/unpacking and loading/unloading.
• Perform visual inspection using the scope.

Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Supporting daily manufacturing operations, maintenance & troubleshooting. Can choose either permanent day or permanent night shift, island-wide transport, shift allowances, OT, AWS, VB, meals and more!

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Operate on machine/process units as assigned.
• Perform troubleshooting for machine/equipment failures to meet production targets and quality standards and/or specifications.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance (Cleaning, Service, Replace)
• While operating on the machine to perform tasks, always check and record the machine or process parameters and take containment and corrective actions if necessary, to ensure that the machine or process is under control.
• Sampling inspection of parts as per the Quality plan to ensure that the products are within specifications. If out of specification, handle the disposition of non-conforming products as and when required by the Quality plan.
• Support Team Leader to execute changes and projects within the production area and ensure compliance with EHS requirements, quality, cost, and schedule.
• Accuracy in the update of machine MES satellite e.g. corrects component lot numbers, accurate shift output, waste, and downtime.
• Manage Material handling activities which include packing/unpacking, and loading/unloading.
• Perform the visual inspection using the scope.
