Job summary

You will join a skilled operations team responsible for running production equipment, monitoring processes, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The role emphasizes hands-on work, reliability, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Production experience in a manufacturing or chemical processing environment.
• Basic knowledge of chemical production processes and equipment operation.
• Familiarity with chemical safety, PPE use, and regulatory requirements (e.g., COSHH).
• Ability to operate and perform basic troubleshooting on production equipment.
• Understanding of quality control principles and product consistency.
• Ability to accurately complete production records and follow written procedures.
• Capable of performing manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment: Safely run reactors, mixers, pumps, and other machinery according to SOPs.
• Monitor process parameters: Track temperature, pressure, flow rates, and key indicators.
• Perform in-process checks: Take samples, conduct basic quality tests, report deviations.
• Handle raw materials and products: Load/unload materials, transfer batches, package finished goods.
• Maintain cleanliness and order: Keep work areas clean and compliant with housekeeping standards.
• Follow safety protocols: Use PPE, follow chemical handling procedures, contribute to safety.
• Support troubleshooting and maintenance: Assist with minor equipment adjustments and report issues.
• Document activities: Complete production logs, batch records, and shift handovers.
