Job summary

Butter Days in Singapore is seeking an Operations Associate to support day-to-day production at our food manufacturing facility. You will assist with production planning, supervision, quality control and staff oversight while working closely with the founders to improve production systems.

Based in Jurong, Chin Bee, this full-time role offers hands-on production exposure and opportunities for growth within a fast-growing specialty food brand.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing or a similar production environment is a plus, but not required.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan production schedules and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene and safety.
• The role prefers but does not require a Food Hygiene Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Production Manager in planning, coordinating and supervising daily production activities based on sales orders, inventory levels and production capacity.
• Monitor raw material usage, assist with stock counts and inventory reconciliation where required, and coordinate purchasing to ensure sufficient stock for production.
• Monitor operations to ensure production is carried out according to approved recipes, formulations and procedures, and coordinate manpower to meet targets efficiently.
• Assist in troubleshooting production problems and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of equipment and production areas before and after production.
• Ensure finished products are properly packed, labelled, dated and stored.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and quality standards.

We are an award-winning Singapore food brand creating butters and cream cheese spreads. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a hands-on and responsible Operations Associate to support the day-to-day operations of our food manufacturing facility. You will be expected to participate in production activities when required, while also take responsibility for production planning, documentation, quality control and staff supervision. You will work closely with the founders to build and improve the production systems behind one of Singapore's fastest-growing specialty food brands.
