Job summary

CareCone Group is seeking an Application Support / Middleware Engineer to ensure smooth production operations across environments. The role covers deployment, troubleshooting, basic Linux administration, and IBM MQ/Oracle DB tasks within an enterprise setting.

You will collaborate with multiple teams, perform RCA on incidents, and contribute to release support and automation using Shell scripting. A strong communication mindset and production-experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Application Support / Production Support / Middleware Support.
• Hands-on Linux/Unix experience.
• IBM MQ administration and troubleshooting experience.
• Knowledge of Oracle Database and SQL.
• Experience in application deployment and release support.
• Basic Shell/Bash scripting knowledge.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Experience in an enterprise/production environment.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and support applications across environments.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot issues.
• Perform basic Linux administration and monitor servers.
• Support Oracle Database activities and connectivity issues.
• Manage IBM MQ queues, channels, and listeners.
• Monitor applications, databases, servers and middleware.
• Conduct incident troubleshooting and RCA.
• Support releases, upgrades, and changes.
• Use Shell/Bash scripting for basic automation.
• Coordinate with technical teams to resolve production issues.
• Maintain technical documentation and SOPs.
