Job summary

SUNMAN SOLUTION ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable Production Leader to oversee ACMV manufacturing operations, ensuring production, quality and delivery targets are achieved.

You will develop production plans, allocate manpower, machinery and materials, and lead the Production Planner, Supervisors and the production team to optimize throughput while maintaining safety and quality standards. The role emphasizes Lean practices and continuous improvement to reduce waste and downtime.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ACMV manufacturing operations to meet production, quality and delivery targets.
• Develop production plans and ensure effective allocation of manpower, machinery and materials.
• Lead and manage the Production Planner, Production Supervisors and production team.
• Monitor production performance, productivity, capacity, WIP, downtime, rework and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Drafting, Procurement, Warehouse, QA/QC and Delivery teams to ensure smooth production flow.
• Identify production bottlenecks, operational issues and resource constraints, and implement timely solutions.
• Ensure products are manufactured according to approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor production costs, material usage, manpower efficiency and minimize wastage.
• Establish and monitor production KPIs and prepare regular performance reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, housekeeping and 5S requirements.
• Develop, coach and motivate the production team to improve performance and productivity.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing, process improvement and waste reduction.
• Support the implementation of production systems, processes and future ERP/MES solutions.
• Work closely with management to improve production capacity, efficiency and overall operational performance.
