ums pte. ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Production Manager to oversee daily production planning and execution, ensuring targets are met safely, efficiently and on time in line with quality requirements.

The role collaborates with Quality Assurance, Engineering, Planning, Purchasing and Logistics to resolve issues, improve processes, and drive lean manufacturing. You will manage ERP Epicor data, monitor KPIs, lead a multinational team and optimize resources.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Operations management.
• Experience in manufacturing, production, or semiconductor equipment manufacturing.
• Strong production planning and execution experience.
• Familiarity with ERP systems; Epicor preferred.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsabilités

• Plan, coordinate and monitor daily production activities to meet customer delivery schedules.
• Manage production work orders, scheduling and workflow across departments.
• Ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining quality and cost targets.
• Monitor production capacity, manpower, equipment, materials and resource allocation.
• Identify bottlenecks, delays and quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Engineering, Planning, Purchasing, Logistics and others to resolve issues.
• Monitor production performance, productivity, yield, lead time and other KPIs.
• Drive continuous improvement, lean manufacturing and process-efficiency initiatives.
• Ensure accurate production and inventory information in the Epicor ERP system.
• Monitor material availability and work with Purchasing/Suppliers to prevent delays.
• Manage production costs, inventory levels and resource utilization.
• Provide regular updates on production status and delivery risks to management.
• Lead, coach and develop production staff to achieve departmental objectives.
• Handle customer or internal escalations relating to production, delivery and quality.
• Ensure production activities comply with procedures, safety requirements and quality standards.

Job Description

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in manufacturing, production or semiconductor equipment manufacturing.
• Strong experience in production planning and execution.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, production control and material flow.
• Experience with ERP systems, particularly Epicor, would be an advantage.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of operational issues.
• Hands-on, proactive and detail-oriented approach.
