Job summary

SYNERGYCHEM PTE. LTD. is seeking a production technician to operate and monitor production machines, ensuring 5S compliance on the floor and performing routine maintenance.

You will troubleshoot minor faults, assist with setup, and conduct quality checks to uphold product standards. The role requires secondary education or an appropriate technical certificate, with the ability to follow SOPs and work in shifts in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of machinery and maintenance principles.
• Ability to follow instructions and SOPs accurately.
• Good troubleshooting skills for minor machine faults.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machines during daily operations.
• Ensure production floor aligns with 5S policy for health and safety standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and servicing of equipment.
• Troubleshoot and fix minor machine faults to minimize downtime.
• Assist with equipment setup, adjustments and cleaning.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet standards.
• Report major breakdowns or technical issues to the supervisor.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance work done.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment.
