Job summary

AIM RECRUIT CONSULTANCY PTE. LIMITED is looking for a Production Engineer in Singapore to manage and coordinate all production activities in Tuas. The ideal candidate should possess a Diploma or Degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering and have at least 2 years of experience in metal machining or oil & gas.

This role involves ensuring timely delivery of jobs, managing project workflows from inception to completion, and enhancing team efficiency through effective training.

Job description

Production Engineer /5 days /Up to $4,000 - $4,800 @Tuas

• Manage, coordinate, delegation and scheduling of all incoming jobs and ensure timely delivery.
• Understand requirements of all manufacturing, servicing and improvement project.
• Manage from start to completion of projec by working with stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Manage workshop loadings, direct labour hours, overtime, rework, scrap, deliveries, downtime etc.
• Organize weekly production meeting to provide status update to all relevant departments.
• Assist formulate shop floor production plans and optimize production hours.
• Identify competency of production staffs and assign suitable work tasks.
• Manage grievances arising and motivate employees to boost their morale.
• Work with departments to develop, implement and conduct training to enhance competency.
• Conduct annual performance appraisal for employees & work with QHSE on quality issues.
• Review on PCR and work with internal depts/customer to clarify specs/ requirements.
• Resolving bottleneck situations and determining root cause, corrections and corrective actions.
• Initiating purchase requisition, prepare monthly reports, and deal with provider on technical issues.
• Diploma/Degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical with 2 years in metal machining/oil&gas preferred.
