Job summary

Ambition is seeking a Production Engineer to join a global engineering team supporting trading and investment systems in Singapore. This role blends production engineering, observability, automation, DevOps, and end-user support, offering exposure to a wide range of technologies.

You will improve system reliability, drive automation, design CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with traders, engineers, and infrastructure teams in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong software engineering and DevOps background.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise business-critical production systems.
• Develop and enhance observability solutions using logs, metrics, and tracing.
• Build automation, tooling, and operational workflows to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Investigate and resolve complex application and infrastructure issues across distributed environments.
• Lead incident response and root-cause analysis activities.
• Partner closely with development, platform, and infrastructure teams globally.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers within the team.
• Support end-user computing environments and drive improvements through automation and process optimisation.
• Engage directly with business stakeholders in a fast-paced trading environment.
