Job summary

ZY FUTURE INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. is seeking a production supervisor to plan and schedule manufacturing activities, coordinating with Sales, Engineering, Procurement and Warehouse to ensure smooth flow. You will monitor progress, allocate resources, and drive on-time delivery while reducing downtime and costs.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, understanding stainless steel fabrication, and guiding welders and operators. Strong leadership and CAD/BIM proficiency are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with stainless steel fabrication and production planning.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with Argon welding processes.
• Strong detail orientation and problem solving.

• Proficiency in CAD/BIM tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule production activities according to customer orders and delivery deadlines.
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Procurement, and Warehouse to ensure smooth production flow.
• Monitor production progress to meet delivery deadline.
• Ensure production targets are achieved within the planned timeline.
• Reduce production downtime, material wastage, and operating costs.
• Supervise daily production activities and ensure compliance with work instructions.
• Allocate manpower and machine resources efficiently.
• Monitor machine utilisation and production output.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure all fabricated stainless steel products comply with customer specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
• Work closely with the Quality team to resolve quality issues.
• Investigate non-conformities and implement preventive measures.
• Review engineering drawings and fabrication requirements before production.
• Provide technical guidance to supervisors, welders, fabricators, and machine operators.
• Assist in developing fabrication methods and production procedures.
• Coordinate with Procurement to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Ensure proper material identification and traceability.
• Maintain accurate production and inventory records.

• Strong knowledge of stainless steel fabrication processes (cutting, bending, welding, polishing, assembly, and finishing).
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and fabrication specifications.
• Familiarity with welding processes such as Argon welding.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with engineering design programs such as AutoCAD, BIM and Rhino.
