ACEZ INSTRUMENTS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead our precision machining operations in Singapore. You will oversee production planning, technical operations, process improvement, and a skilled team to ensure quality, safety and cost efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years in a supervisory role within a customized machine shop, be proficient at reading drawings and BOMs, and have hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Collaborate with Sales, Technical, Purchasing and Quality teams to resolve issues.
• Lead, coach and develop the production team with a culture of teamwork and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, quality standards and EHS policies.
• Review and approve production work orders, drawings and BOMs before production.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and hands-onProduction Supervisorto lead our production operations in a customized precision machining environment. This role is responsible for overseeing production planning, technical operations, process improvement, and team leadership while ensuring quality, productivity, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong technical knowledge in precision machining who enjoys solving manufacturing challenges and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily production operations to achieve quality, productivity, delivery, and cost targets.

• Plan and optimize production resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to ensure smooth operations.

• Develop and continuously improve Standard Work Instructions (SWI), manufacturing procedures, and production processes.

• Work closely with Sales, Technical, Purchasing, and Quality teams to ensure smooth production and resolve manufacturing issues.

• Lead, coach, and develop the production team while fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.

• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, quality standards, and Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) policies.

• Review and approve production work orders, manufacturing drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM) before production.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or higher qualification preferred.

• Candidates with extensive relevant hands-on experience in lieu of formal qualifications are encouraged to apply.

• Experience in a customized machine shop or precision machining manufacturing environment is essential.

• At least 2–5 years of supervisory or production management experience in manufacturing.

• Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and Bills of Materials (BOM).

• Experience using ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong understanding of production planning, machining processes, quality control, and manufacturing operations.

• Passion for continuous improvement and solving manufacturing challenges.
