Job summary

SEATECH SOLUTIONS INTERNATIONAL (S) PTE LTD seeks a skilled AVEVA drafter to coordinate with clients, supervise a design team and produce 3D AVEVA models and 2D drawings for marine projects.

The role involves modelling equipment, extracting piping GA/MTO data, creating isometrics, and ensuring data consistency across disciplines. A strong focus on timely delivery and quality is required.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have hands-on experience with 3D modelling in AVEVA and strong drawing production skills.
• Proficiency with AVEVA software for marine drafting and isometric extraction is required.
• Ability to coordinate multiple disciplines to avoid clashes in AVEVA models.
• Experience extracting piping GA, layout and MTO data from AVEVA is essential.
• Strong review skills for engineering documents and drawings is needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the client and attend client meetings when required.
• Supervise the team to deliver per schedule and quality.
• Administer 3D modelling in AVEVA software.
• Review and comment on engineering documents.
• Design and incorporate structural components into AVEVA 3D models.
• Coordinate multi-discipline design to avoid interferences in AVEVA models.
• Prepare construction drawings using AVEVA Marine Drafting.
• Model equipment and outfitting in AVEVA.
• Extract Outfitting GA from AVEVA.
• Prepare plot plans, key plans and other engineering documents.
• Extract piping layout and piping GA from AVEVA.
• Extract Isometric drawings with MTO and Line list.
• Data consistency and clash checking in AVEVA.
• Prepare support drawings.
• Check piping and other discipline documents as per shipyard payment.
• Perform 3D modelling of electrical equipment and cable trays in AVEVA.
• Prepare 2D deliverables (lighting layout, wiring diagram, equipment layout, interconnection diagram, cable tray/ladder layout, MCT layout).

Job description

• Coordinating with the client and attending client meeting whenever required
• Supervise and coordinate with team to produce deliverable per schedule and quality
• Administrative role of 3D modelling process with AVEVA software
• Review and comment on various engineering documents
• Design & incoporate structural components of project into AVEVA 3D model and produce 3D structural models
• Multi-discipline design coordination to avoid & correct interferences in AVEVA 3D model
• Prepare construction drawings (2D Structure drawings, bending template, profile nesting, plate nesting and material list) utilizing AVEVA Marine Drafting
• Modelling of Equipment and Outfitting in AVEVA
• Extraction of Outfitting General Arrangement from AVEVA
• Prepare a wide range of engineering related documents such as plot plans, Key plan
• Extraction of Piping layout and Piping General Arrangement from AVEVA
• Extraction of Isometric drawing with MTO and Line list
• Data consistency and Clash checking in AVEVA
• Prepare support drawings
• Checking the piping and other discipline documents as per shipyard payment
• Perform 3D Modelling of Electrical equipment and cable tray/ladder, supports and instruments in AVEVA
