Job summary

GO CIRCULAR PTE. LTD. seeks an Operations Manager to lead and coordinate Production, Service & Maintenance, and Design functions.

You will ensure that equipment and systems are designed, fabricated, tested, installed, commissioned and maintained safely, efficiently and on schedule. Key responsibilities include managing daily operations, planning manpower and materials, overseeing fabrication and testing, and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in operations, production, engineering, maintenance or project management with 3+ years in a supervisory role.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams in machinery, automation, manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Knowledge of fabrication, assembly, electrical systems, testing, installation and maintenance processes.
• Able to read and review engineering drawings, technical specifications and BOMs.
• Strong leadership, planning, problem-solving, cost-control and stakeholder-management skills.
• Knowledge of PLC-controlled systems; waste-management equipment; SolidWorks is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Singapore workplace safety and site practices; willingness to attend customer sites and urgent operational matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations and performance of Production, Service & Maintenance, and Design teams.
• Plan manpower, materials, tools and schedules for production, installation, commissioning and maintenance work.
• Oversee fabrication, assembly, electrical work, testing, quality checks and readiness for delivery.
• Manage preventive maintenance, breakdown response, troubleshooting, repair and closure of service cases.
• Review engineering drawings, layouts, specifications and BOMs before release for production.
• Coordinate with Sales, Projects, Procurement, Finance, suppliers, contractors and customers.
• Investigate recurring faults, delays and quality issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Control operational costs, material usage, overtime, subcontractor expenses and spare-parts requirements.
• Ensure workplace safety, quality compliance, proper documentation and regular reporting to Management.
• Lead, coach and develop engineers, technicians, designers, supervisors and production employees.
