Job summary

A staffing agency in Singapore is seeking candidates for a production coordinator role. Responsibilities

• Monitor component/material status required for production.
• Coordinate issuance and receipt of components/materials with SCM and Warehouse.
• Plan and coordinate production and testing activities to minimize down time.
• Plan transportation/logistics for deliveries.
• Assist Production Manager in maintaining housekeeping and WSH requirements.

Job description

• Contract till Sep 2022 (extendable)
• Sungei Kadut
• Mon to Fri 8am to 6pm
• Up to $3000

Responsibilities

• To monitor closely the component/material status required for production and to push and expedite for their delivery
• To work with SCM, Warehouse and production to coordinate the issuance and receipt of components/materials required for production
• To plan and coordinate production and testing activities between production teams, System Integration team and QA team to minimise waiting/down time
• To plan and coordinate transportation and logistics eg. Delivery of AGV to PSA
• To assist Production Manager in ensuring good housekeeping and WSH requirements

Requirements

• Higher Nitec or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical from a recognised institution
• More than 2 years of working experience in a large equipment production environment
• Ability to speak/write in English
• Good interpersonal skills and a team player
