Job summary

Kristal.AI, a digital private bank and wealth-tech company in Singapore, is hiring an AI Engineer to build production AI applications for our wealth management platform. You will own features end to end, from scoping with business teams to running in production, reporting to the AI Product Lead and collaborating with data scientists and engineers.

You will design AI agent workflows, build RAG systems over internal docs, policies, and client communications, and ensure data privacy and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/DS/Engineering or related field.
• At least 1 year of hands-on software or AI application experience.
• Strong Python programming skills suitable for production code.
• Practical experience with large language models, prompting, retrieval, embeddings, and failure modes.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).
• Ability to translate complex problems into solvable tasks and communicate clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship production AI applications for wealth management platform.
• Design and build AI agent workflows using frameworks like LangGraph or LangChain.
• Create evaluation harnesses and test sets to measure quality before/after changes.
• Write backend services and Python APIs to support AI workloads and integrate with internal/third-party systems.
• Collaborate with operations and relationship management to scope problems and deliver solutions.
• Monitor accuracy, latency, and cost in production and improve over time.
• Apply data privacy, auditability, and regulatory controls to AI features.
