Job summary

Razer is seeking a Product Quality Engineer II to ensure products meet quality and reliability standards across development, qualification, and mass production. You will execute NPI quality qualifications, analyze test data, and partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supplier Quality to drive CAPA and prevent defects.

Responsibilities include data-driven quality improvements using Excel/Power BI, applying DOE and statistical methods, and supporting factory builds and qualification

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in product quality, reliability engineering, or hardware development.
  • Strong knowledge of quality and reliability engineering principles and DOE.
  • Experience with NPI builds, reliability qualification, or mass-production quality activities.
  • Familiarity with QMS and quality documentation processes.

This role supports qualification activities, drives defect prevention, performs data driven analysis, and partners closely with Compliance, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, and Customer Support to resolve issues and improve product performance.Product Quality & Reliability QualificationExecute quality and reliability qualifications for new product introductions (NPI).Ensure all tests, coverage, and reliability assessments meet defined standards.Support milestone readiness through structured quality reviews.Data Analysis & AI‑Supported Quality ImprovementAnalyze test data, failure trends, and product performance metrics.Use AI/ML‑driven tools (where applicable) to enhance defect detection and predictive risk analysis.Generate dashboards and reports to support decision making.Issue Resolution & Root‑Cause AnalysisWork with Engineering to perform detailed failure analysis and drive corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).Participation in structured problem‑solving activitiesEnsure timely containment and resolution of quality issues.Process & Documentation ManagementMaintain and update quality test plans, process documentation, and qualification standards.Support continuous improvement of quality workflows, testing efficiency, and data accuracy.Ensure compliance with quality management system (QMS) requirements.Cross‑Functional CollaborationPartner with R&D, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, and Customer Support teams on quality improvements.Support factory builds, reliability runs, supplier audits, and production validation activities.Communicate findings and risks clearly to stakeholders.Supplier & External Lab SupportCoordinate with external test labs to ensure accurate and timely qualification results.Validate supplier test results and support supplier quality improvements as needed.Pre-Requisites :Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, such as Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Computer, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.2–5 years of relevant experience in product quality, reliability engineering, product validation, testing, or hardware development.Strong knowledge of quality and reliability engineering principles, including environmental and reliability testing, failure mechanisms, statistical analysis, and Design of Experiments (DOE).Experience supporting NPI builds, reliability qualification, or mass-production quality activities.Familiarity with Quality Management Systems and quality documentation processes.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with a keen attention to detail and a continuous-improvement mindset.Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and present technical findings clearly.Comfortable working in a fast-paced engineering environment and supporting local and occasional overseas builds, audits, and qualification activities.Preferred QualificationsExperience using data-analysis and visualization tools such as Excel and Power BI.Exposure to AI/ML-based analytics, predictive modelling, or other data-driven engineering tools.Knowledge of scripting or programming using Python, R, Linux, or Windows.Previous experience in consumer electronics, hardware development, or a high-volume manufacturing environment.Razer is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
