Job summary

Argyll Scott is seeking a dedicated Product Owner to lead PMX, define the product vision, and drive development aligned with customer needs. This role is hands-on, requiring strong organization, time management, and the ability to manage priorities across global teams.

The PO will represent business stakeholders and manage end-to-end Agile product management using AI-SDLC, digital transformation, process modelling and solution design.

Qualifications

• Insurance product experience and knowledge of the general insurance business model.
• Experience as part of an Agile delivery team.
• Exposure to underwriting, claims, and broking systems is a plus.
• Experience with senior decision makers across functions.
• Knowledge of user-centred design.
• Previous Product Owner experience.
• SAFe PO/PM or CSPO certification preferred.
• Strong planning and attention to detail.

Job description

• 12 Month Contract, Extremely High Chance of Renewals (subject to performance)

Role Overview

The focus of the role is to be the dedicated point person for Producer Management (PMX) responsible for defining the product vision, managing the development, and optimising for customer needs.

This is a “hands-on” role that requires excellent organizational and time management skills, an ability to manage competing priorities across geographically dispersed teams, creative problem solving and resourcefulness to overcome challenges, and superior communication skills to manage key delivery risks and keep stakeholders informed of progress.

The PO will represent the business stakeholders and be responsible for the end-to-end Agile product management using AI-SDLC, digital transformation, process modelling & solution design.

Skills and Experience Required

• Insurance product experience and knowledge of the general insurance business model, broker platforms and underwriting/claims operations.
• Experience as part of an Agile delivery team.
• Exposure to underwriting systems, claims systems, and broking systems will be an advantage.
• Experience and ease in working with senior decision makers, and all levels of the organization, across functions.
• Knowledge of user-centred design principles.
• Previous working experience as a Product Owner.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies. SAFe PO/ PM or CSPO certification preferred.
• Process orientated, an organiser with strong planning ability and attention to detail.
