Job summary

GovTech Singapore is seeking a Product Manager to support the CIO in Singapore Customs and lead data analytics and AI product initiatives built on cloud tools like Databricks, AWS Quicksight, and Neo4j. You will drive roadmaps, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure delivery of high-impact digital solutions.

The role requires strong technical understanding, stakeholder influence, and hands-on product management experience to plan activities and roadmaps with the product owner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in CS, IS, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of digital product management experience and full product lifecycle understanding.
• Proven ability to drive research, conceptualization, development, and adoption of impactful products.
• Strong technical communication with engineering teams and stakeholders.

Job description

As a Product Manager, you will support the CIO in Singapore Customs and collaborate with fellow team members to deliver digital solutions. To succeed, you must be a pro-active, self-motivated and resourceful team member with good technical/digital skill sets and possesses strong influencing and people handling skills. The product that may be assigned to the PM would be the management of a data analytics and AI product built on various cloud analytics product such as Databricks, AWS Quicksight and Neo4j. A good technical knowledge and hands-on skill will be preferred for this post as the PM will need to have good grasp of the technical setup and the analytics tool, as well as product management skill to plan the activities and product roadmap with the product owner.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full product lifecycle — from concept, research, and design through to delivery, maintenance, and enhancement.
• Drive the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and user needs.
• Conduct market research and data analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and customer pain points.
• Gather and define business requirements, write user stories, and manage the product backlog in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Partner with UX designers and stakeholders to craft intuitive and effective user journeys.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in digital product management with a solid understanding of the product lifecycle.
• Proven ability to apply product management disciplines to drive research, conceptualization, development, and adoption of impactful products.
• Strong technical understanding to effectively communicate with engineering teams and stakeholders.
• Experience in vendor and contract management, change/service request management, and incident/problem management.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, CI/CD practices, and cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS).
• Familiarity with user authentication and identity management concepts.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience collaborating across organizational boundaries.
• Data analytics and visualization experience will be an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with a user-centric mindset.
