Eames Consulting's client, a fast-growing fintech in Asia, seeks a hands-on Chief Technology Officer to shape product strategy and technology direction. You will lead a multi-region engineering team, work closely with the board, clients and investors, and drive the roadmap and user experience in a production-grade stack.

You should thrive in a startup/scale-up environment, own both product and engineering, and bring Mandarin language skills to engage regional stakeholders effectively.

Qualifications

• Proven startup/scale-up mentality and experience
• Ability to drive product-led engineering strategy
• Executive presence with board, clients and investors
• Experience leading multi-region engineering teams
• Hands-on exposure to AI/agentic engineering approaches
• Earlier founder/CTO-level experience building a tech business
• Mandarin language skills essential for regional stakeholder footprint

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and engineering direction, and shape the roadmap, features and UX with clients and stakeholders
• Represent the business to the board, clients and investors and lead the engineering team
• Scale and evolve a modern production-grade tech stack (Vue/Nuxt, Java/Spring, multi-database layer)
• Collaborate with product and wider organization to drive growth and business outcomes
