Job summary

Howden in Singapore seeks an experienced Product Governance Manager to ensure products meet regulatory requirements while delivering positive customer outcomes. You will collaborate with senior management to embed governance, support approvals for new products, and deliver training to enhance compliance across the organisation.

The role requires strong regulatory knowledge, risk mindset, and the ability to influence senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of regulatory expectations regarding Product Governance, Consumer Duty & Fair Value assessments.
• Experience in a compliance role (1st/2nd LOD) within insurance.
• Ability to build constructive relationships with senior management.
• Commercial awareness and applying regulation within the insurance broking industry.
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Senior Management to meet regulatory expectations.
• Assist in the assessment and approval process for new products and changes via the Product Governance Committee.
• Embed product governance principles across the business.
• Develop and deliver training on relevant processes to enhance compliance.
• Serve as primary point of contact for Information Requests,FVAs, Product Reviews/Approvals, and Distribution Impact Assessments.
