• Oversee market research, competitor analysis and product benchmarking to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
• Lead onboarding due diligence reviews of new insurers and products, ensuring governance and oversight.
• Review existing product solutions to maintain competitiveness, compliance and relevance to client needs.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with carriers, from negotiations to tailored solutions.
• Partner with local CEO/Sales Managers to enhance commercial outcomes through product positioning.
• Drive product knowledge excellence and keep the team updated on regulatory developments.
• Ensure compliance of product offerings with regulatory requirements and internal governance.
• Manage a global team of product experts to deliver best-in-class support.

Job Summary

Reporting directly to the Global CEO of Howden Private Wealth, the role is currently scoped as Head of Product, an exceptional candidate with demonstrated executive leadership experience and a proven track record of shaping product strategy may be considered for appointment as Chief Product Officer.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall product strategy aligned with the Company’s business objectives and growth ambitions
• Oversee market research, competitor analysis and product benchmarking to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation
• Lead the onboarding due diligence review of new insurers and products, ensuring effective oversight of processes and governance requirements
• Ensure regular review of existing product solutions to maintain competitiveness, compliance and relevance to client needs
• Develop and maintain strong strategic relationships with carriers, from negotiations of distribution agreements to development of solutions tailored to market demands and client needs
• Partner with local CEO / Sales Managers to enhance commercial outcomes through effective product positioning, sales concepts and solution strategies
• Drive product knowledge excellence and ensure the team remains current on product changes, market trends and regulatory developments
• Ensure product offerings and carrier partnerships comply with applicable regulatory requirements and internal governance standards
• Manage a global team of product experts to deliver best-in-class support to consultants and stakeholders
