Job summary

Dyson is seeking a Product Engineering Manager to lead a team of Product Engineers within a category, ensuring effective delivery of engineering activities across multiple projects. You will build capability, define engineering standards, and drive continuous improvement, while collaborating with engineering, manufacturing and procurement to align delivery with business goals in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification.
• In-depth knowledge of new product development, product lifecycle, product engineering and SKU management.
• Strong expertise in engineering drawings, product specifications, BOM, and manufacturing processes.
• Leading engineering teams with coaching and performance management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, resources and stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Product Engineers within a specific product category.
• Allocate resources, assign work, and prioritise tasks across multiple projects.
• Oversee execution of product engineering deliverables to align with timelines and quality standards.
• Guide and support the team in solving complex engineering challenges.
• Define, standardise, and improve product engineering processes, tools and templates.
• Ensure consistent application of best practices and governance across all projects.
• Act as escalation point for risks, issues and delivery challenges within the category.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Drive team engagement, performance and alignment with goals.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members for career progression.
