Job summary

ACCTON TECHNOLOGY SG PTE. LTD. is seeking a Product Engineer to own product performance, yield, and reliability across the manufacturing lifecycle of optical transceivers.

You will serve as the technical interface between design, manufacturing, test, and quality teams to ensure stability and continuous improvement from NPI through mass production. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product engineering, optical module, or electronics manufacturing.
• Experience in optical transceiver products is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of product architecture (optical transceivers, BER/OMA/ER/sensitivity).
• Familiarity with NPI phases (EVT/DVT/PVT) and manufacturing processes (SMT, DB, WB, AA, Test).

Responsibilities

• Own product performance, yield, reliability in manufacturing.
• Lead failure analysis and root cause investigations.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Test Engineering, and Quality.
• Support NPI activities including product bring-up, debugging, and validation.
• Monitor yield trends, reliability data, and RMA trends.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for cost and quality.
• Maintain product documentation and change control (ECO/ECN).

Position Summary

The Product Engineer is responsible for owning product performance,yield, and reliability throughout the manufacturing lifecycle of opticaltransceivers. Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Optical Engineering, or related discipline

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in productengineering, optical module, or electronics manufacturing

• Experience in optical transceiver productsis highly preferred

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of product architecture:

• Optical transceiver modules (TOSA, ROSA,BOSA, PIC, DSP, PCB)

• Knowledge of:

• Optical performance parameters (BER, OMA,ER, sensitivity)

• Electrical performance and signalintegrity

• Experience with:

• Yield analysis and data mining

• Failure analysis (FA)

• Reliability testing (HTOL, TC, Burn-in)

• Familiarity with:

• NPI phases (EVT/DVT/PVT)
