Job summary

MMI SYSTEMS PTE LTD is seeking an engineer to review and analyze system and component information for manufacturability in Singapore. You will work with customers and design engineers to ensure complete and updated BOMs, and update BOMs in SAP systems with purchasing/planning teams.

You will design workflows and MPI documents and provide online manufacturing support to meet acceptance criteria. You will also support project engineers with customer interfaces and quotations, train the Site

Qualifications

• Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of experience in automation tooling and control engineering
• Knowledge of design and implementation of workflow
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• SAP knowledge is an added advantage
• Willing to travel overseas.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze all systems and components information for manufacturability
• Collaborate with customers or Design Engineers to ensure completeness and updated BOM
• Update Material Master/BOM in SAP systems with Purchasing/Planning
• Design and implement workflow and document MPI
• Provide manufacturing support for all product technical issues online to meet customer acceptance criteria
• Support the Project Engineer on customer technical interfaces and project quotations
• Train Site Install team to handle technical issues during install and commissioning
• Assist ops team to manage Site team to meet customer targets
• Coordinate with Customer or Design Engineers to ensure system fulfills specifications
• Follow up with supplier engineers to resolve technical issues with components

Responsibilities:

• Review analyze all systems and components information (from customer or from Design Engineering Department) for manufacturability.
• Work with Customer's or Design Engineers to ensure completeness & updated system Bill-Of-Materials.
• Work with Purchasing/Planning to update the Material Master/Bill-Of-Materials into the SAP Systems.
• Design and implement workflow, and document the Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI).
• Manufacturing support for all product technical issues on-line to meet customer acceptance criteria.
• Support the Project Engineer on all customer technical interface & project quotations External
• Support and train the Site Install team to handle technical issues during install & commissioning.
• Support the ops team to manage the Site team to ensure they meet customer targets.
• Work with the Customer's or Design Engineers to ensure system fulfill specifications.
