Job summary

Makino Asia Group is seeking an engineer to provide sustaining engineering support for CNC machinery assembly and to drive process improvements in manufacturing and assembly operations. You will assist with failure analysis, value engineering, and process validation while designing fixtures and tooling for production use.

You will also manage BOM and routing in SAP, prepare production manuals, and collaborate with other departments to hit KPI targets for quality, waste and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical/ Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Solidworks, SAP, SQL, SharePoint or DWG Editor is a plus.
• Able to lead, motivated, driven and good communication skills.
• Team player with a sense of responsibility and urgency.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in CNC machinery assembly process and automation is advantageous.
• Experience in fixture/jig design and new technology introduction advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute activities with other departments to meet common goals.
• Perform design and development assignments related to equipment layouts in plant and production facilities.
• Support NPI and product transfer to China/India.
• Follow safety and health systems and safe work procedures.

• Support new product introduction (NPI) and product transfer to China/India
• Follow the workplace safety and health system, safe work procedures or safety rules implemented at the workplace.
